Established internationally active machinery manufacturer seeks a full-time service coordinator to work in our Kent, WA headquarters.

Position Summary:
The position serves to provide structured and organized approaches to machinery service. Service coordinator will create a cohesive and organized approach to all customer interactions related to service, installation, and upgrades of Rottler machinery, both new and old. This individual will provide top level response to new and existing customers, while working closely with the sales departments.

Candidates should be prepared to travel up to one week per month.

This position will at times require after-hours or odd hours work to meet needs of international customers.

Primary Functions:
• Serve as primary contact person for customer service inquiries.
• Respond to all inquiries immediately with solution or obtaining solutions as needed.
• Build video documentation library for all troubleshooting topics previously covered.
• Schedule technicians for field work (service, upgrades, new machine installations).
• Prepare field techs with proper customer information, required tools, travel documents, and all other information for successful field work.
• Interact with sales department to schedule techs to meet customer expectations.
• Work with other department on personnel scheduling and long-term outlooks.
• Improve technical manuals for new-machine installations with Metric- and American-standard machine requirements.  
• Debrief techs after field work to determine areas to improve and streamline service, upgrades, and new machine installations.

Characteristics of a good candidate:
• Strong mechanical background
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Fluent Spanish speaker with working knowledge of Spanish technical terms highly desired
• High level of professionalism
• Strong troubleshooting abilities
• Motion control knowledge
• CNC machinery maintenance experience
• High computer proficiency (MS Office, Outlook, web conferencing)
• Technical education or degrees are beneficial but not required
• Exposure to automotive engines and/or rebuilding

This individual will work under the direction of the assembly supervisor and company management.

Training will be provided by our assembly and management team.
