Established internationally active machinery manufacturer seeks a full-time assembly and service technician to work in our Kent, WA headquarters.
Position Function Summary:
This individual will be responsible for assembling and testing our larger CNC machinery.
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment, and will be expected to complete consistent highest quality of work. The individual must adhere to company standards and written as well as verbal instruction from superiors. This position reports directly to the team leader.
Past experience with CNC machinery maintenance and assembly is highly preferred.
This position could also require taking service calls and interacting directly with end-user customers, and candidates should therefore have good troubleshooting and interpersonal skills. Prior field service or similar experience is highly emphasized. Orderly and organized work areas must be maintained throughout daily tasks.
Candidates should be prepared to travel up to one week per month.
A strong candidate will have:
Strong mechanical background
Motion control knowledge
Electrical assembly experience
CNC machinery maintenance experience
Strong troubleshooting abilities
Good communication skills
High level of professionalism
High proficiency with measuring & hand tools
Ability to operate in team and independent settings
Exposure to automotive engines and/or rebuilding
Fluent English- and Spanish-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply
This individual will work under the direction of shop management and the team leader.
Training will be provided by our manufacturing team.
